Once, long ago, mythical creatures and present day animals lived in harmony. The wind, untouched by man or their machines, blew over these lands, both good and evil. Then, humans and elves arrived. They destroyed the herds, taking some of the creatures into captivity. Very few escaped. The mythical creatures fled to a world away from man. They had to hide the portal to the mythical realm to keep man out. The stubborn creatures we see today though, stayed in the deteriorating wilderness. Very few were left alive, and even fewer left wild. As the creatures we know, died, of old age, sickness and murder, the mythical creatures thrived, in a world unknown by us. The mythical creatures lived on, immortally. Then, in our world, man began to die out, and wild creatures began to take over once more. The man's machines and weapons were ultimately their demise. This, was a day of rejoicing for our creatures. They called upon their mythical brothers, who returned to this world they left behind. The leader of the mythical creatures, Kisaru, suggested a plan, for he knew that one day, our creatures would die, and our world would no longer exist. He said, that our creatures should stay in their world, until their time was about to expire. Then, all they had to do was call upon him, and he would arrive, to help our creatures enter the mythical realm. Until then, Kisaru will watch over our creatures. Rarely returning to the mythical realm, only to return forever, when our world is no more. In return, our creatures will help protect enemies from ever entering the open portal to the mythical realm. It is only a matter of time before our creatures reunite with their enchanted brothers. Only a matter of time before Kisaru returns to his mate, never to leave her side again. The only question is when?
